Ever felt like you are a clothes horse for others to dump their laundry on?Are you the person that is always their for others to unload on, forever carrying others peoples crap without them ever supporting you with yours? As children were often taught that other people‘s needs must take priority over our own. That if we choose to put our needs first then we’re being selfish and self-centred. It is this conditioning that creates the clotheshorse affect, where we continue to carry everybody else’s things instead of our own. While it is important to act in support of other people in their own journeys and have their struggles, it is more important to support yourself, so that you remain in a healthy place process your own.In this necessary to stop taking on everybody else’s problems and letting them become your own. Ultimately the responsibility for resolving our own problems by solely with us, just as other people solving their own problems is their responsibility not ours.
