Count your blessings, sometimes they are all you have.Not every day is full of rainbows and sparkles, some weigh heavily on us. Sometimes we have down days, it’s part of being human. It’s easy to feel trapped and consumed by the negative emotions that seem to dominate when we are in that state of mind. depending on how often we find ourselves there it can become part of our comfort zone which should be better known as our suck zone, because it sucks to be stuck there.When we find ourselves in our own suck zone it’s time to start counting the blessings that we actually have. Start with the small things, a roof over your head, food in your belly, the warmth of the sun or even the sound of the rain. We must start looking for the blessings outside of ourselves, looking for the things that we have no control over and turn each one of them into a positive like the warmth of the Sun as opposed to its heat or as mentioned the sound of the rain instead of the grey sky that comes with it.Look for the light through the bars.From where you are right now what can you see or feel that is a positive? Do you have a chair to sit on instead of the dirt? It’s the simple little things that start you on your path out of the crap day.
